KAIRO, KOMPAS.com – A fisherman in Egypt reported almost die after one fish which he caught stuck in throat, making it difficult to breathe.
In early November, doctors on duty in the emergency room of Beni Suef hospital found a patient who was having difficulty breathing and speaking.

To doctors’ surprise, the source of all her suffering came from a fish stuck in her throat.
The little animal is in the windpipe (trachea). Fortunately, there was still a little air that could flow into the man’s body when he was taken to the hospital.
Egyptian media El-Ain reported, the doctor performed endoscopic surgery to remove the fish that was still alive in his throat.
Ear, nose and throat specialist Ali Al-Hajri told Channel One said, if he was brought a few minutes late, the fisherman would have choked.
Fortunately as reported Oddity Central Monday (17/11/2020), the operation was successful. The man also reportedly experienced only minor bleeding.
So, how did the incident get started? The man, a Snur villager on the banks of the Nile River revealed, initially he got a small fish.
But at the same time the fishing line also shook, indicating another catch. To make it easier to move around, he bit the first fish.
Unfortunately, the fish that was bitten by the 40-year-old man escaped and instead entered his throat alive.
Even so, the fish still left some air space for the man, which gave him enough time to be rushed to the hospital.
