The other day, Shevchenko University presented the popular science publication “Corporate Communications: A Fresh Look”. Its authors are Evgeny Zagorulko, a practicing expert in the field of reputation management, and Dmytro Oltarzhevskyi, Doctor of Science, professor of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Journalism of the Taras Shevchenko KNU.
The book analyzes more than 500 scientific works on corporate communications, mostly by foreign researchers. But this is not just the quintessence of Western theories. In addition to key definitions, the book contains rich practical material, world-renowned cases, and original author’s models.
The text is presented in light figurative language, far from the generally accepted scientific style. The authors diluted the mandatory material with interesting analogies, historical digressions, and aphorisms.
The work is addressed to scientists and business representatives, PR professionals. It can be used as a textbook on specialized disciplines for students of higher educational institutions.
The presentation of the monograph was attended by the rector of Taras Shevchenko KNU Volodymyr Bugrov, professor, head of the department of communication and head of the marketing and public relations center of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia) Deyan Verchych, president of the Association of Corporate Media of Ukraine Oksana Todorova.
“Work on the book lasted more than two years,” says Dmytro Oltarzhevskyi. — It was almost ready for printing when Russia launched a full-scale invasion. But despite the war, we completed this work, because it is important and timely. After Ukraine defeats the Russian invaders on the battlefield, we will need to rebuild the country, restore production. Therefore, the knowledge and ideas presented in this monograph will help companies to properly organize corporate communications, using them as an intangible lever of business, and bring our economic victories closer.
The electronic version of the monograph “Corporate Communications: A Fresh Look” can be purchased at one of the well-known online bookstores. According to the decision of the authors, all funds earned from its sale will be transferred to the needs of the Armed Forces.
