The first top speakers at Dmexco 2022 have been chosen

Maurine Alma (takeaway.com), Sir Martin Sorrell (S4Capital), Dr. Karsten Wildberger (MediaMarktSaturn Retail Group) and Dr. Sven Hasselmann (Deutsche Bahn AG). Even the first of around 600 speakers at DMEXCO 2022 promise a program of superlatives. A total of 12 themed summits with keynotes and panels as well as an exclusive Web3 area await visitors on September 21 and 22 in Cologne.

This year, DMEXCO once again brings together international and national top speakers. Big brands meet leading digital and media experts. Representatives of international brands include, for example, Maurine Alma (CMO, takeaway.com), Gali Arnon (CMO, Fiverr), Clemens Bauer (Director Marketing, REWE Markt GmbH), Phil Hutcheon (Founder & CEO, Dice), Johannes Kliesch (Co-Founder, SNOCKS) or Dr. Karsten Wildberger (CEO, MediaMarktSaturn Retail Group). The first media and tech professionals in the speaker lineup include Tatjana Biallas (CEO, FUNKE Medien Niedersachsen), Mark Klein (CDO, ERGO Group AG), Ante Kristo (Founder & CEO, The Football Company), Rasmus Giese ( CEO, United Internet Media), Ashish Prashar (CMO R/GA), Claire Valoti (VP EMEA, Snap Inc.) and David Roter (VP Global Agency Partnerships, Snap Inc.). In addition to Twitter’s CCO Sarah Personette, Sir Martin Sorrell (CEO, S4 Capital and founder of the advertising group WPP) is also doing the honors at DMEXCO for the third time.

Under the motto #WeProgressTogether, DMEXCO invites its community this year not only to discuss progress, but also to help develop it. There are enough current challenges: the new regulatory framework of the EU, the elimination of third-party cookies, the new Web3 technologies, the challenges on the global stock markets and the increasing discussions about energy consumption and the sustainability of the digital industry.

“We will primarily discuss in dialogue how leading brands are reacting to this currently challenging environment together with companies in the digital economy. DMEXCO visitors can look forward to more than 30 panels alone, in which we will discuss the relevant developments in digital marketing and e-commerce, whether this is the Metaverse, Digital Out of Home, Connected TV, Retail Media or Product Experience Management is,” announces Thomas Mosch, Director Conference of DMEXCO.

“The stock market prices of many technology companies have fallen significantly, while the challenges have grown at the same time. At the same time, global media agencies’ forecasts for advertising spending on digital marketing continue to point upwards this year and next. We will discuss this area of conflict intensively at the DMEXCO conference and, together with our partners, try to find solutions to make a contribution to our ecosystem,” says Prof. Dominik Matyka, Chief Advisor of DMEXCO.

“DMEXCO is the platform for digital marketing. We want to discuss how applications can be implemented in Web3 and Metaverse. What are opportunities for digital companies? These are key issues for the future and for the industry. DMEXCO provides the perfect setting for discussions. You can’t get any closer to the future,” comments Dirk Freytag, President of the BVDW.

Tickets for DMEXCO normally cost 149 euros and will be available online from July 20th. For the first time, the tickets are free for students and university teachers. At the start of the ticket shop, there will also be an additional voucher ticket code for DMEXCO 2022 live on site in Cologne with the Early Bird Special “2 for 1” with every ticket purchase up to and including August 3rd.
