In the national road championship, the first swords have reigned with authority in Cartagena in a very dynamic closed circuit of 3.6 kilometers. Among those who have achieved victory in the online test and in the time trial are the athletes of the team led by Félix García Casas, such as Sergio Garrote, Luis Miguel García-Marquina, Ricardo Ten, Maurice Eckhard, Eduardo Santas, Joan Reinoso, Gonzalo García Abella and the tandems Adolfo Bellido-Noel Martín and Kuki López-Irene Méndez.

The Aragonese ‘off-road’ won in C3, although he had to sweat and perform at his best in the online test to beat Francisco Sánchez by 30 seconds. With greater forcefulness he won in the 18 kilometers he had to complete in the time trial with 23: 38.320.

In C4, Pedro Sánchez-Migallón surprised Óscar Higuera in an even duel on the road, but the Andalusian made up for it and got the victory in the clock with 24: 12,200. The 2011 world champion in Denmark, José Diego Jara, surpassed Juan Antonio Sánchez (2: 25.39) in the sprint, who achieved gold in the clock with 22: 41.720, being Juan Alberto Jiménez silver and José Luis Agapito bronze. In the C5 female category, Myriam Martínez defeated her partner Josefina Guimarey both in depth (49.34) and in the time trial (12: 05.150).

In the tricycle modality, Gonzalo García Abella from Madrid beat Juan Manuel Broch with a time of 29.33 minutes in T1 and also in the time trial with 13: 42.420. For his part, the Balearic Joan Reinoso added two more titles of champion of Spain for his showcases. In handbike, absolute dominance of Sergio Garrote in H2. The Catalan, number one in the world ranking, had no problems to defeat his adversaries with solvency. He won the route with a time of 57.28 ahead of Luis Miguel Giner and Juan José Muñoz. And in the time trial with 20: 53.790.
