The game was released on various platforms, for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. The latter version was only available on Epic and Ubisoft Connect after its release – until now. Ubisoft recently announced both the release date of the first story DLC and the Steam release.

Both are scheduled to launch on November 21, 2024. The developers announced on the official account Xformerly Twitter. According to the report, the first story DLC, called Wild Card, focuses on the card game Sabaac:

Kay and Nix infiltrate a high-stakes Sabacc tournament where they face off against the legendary Lando Calrissian. Additionally, new contracts are added for free to all players.

The latter will be included in a free update. There will also be two cosmetic bundles, Hunter’s Legacy and Cartel Ronin.

As far as the Steam release is concerned, Ubisoft has not yet commented on a cross-progression feature. It is currently not clear whether you can transfer saved games from Ubisoft Connect to Steam and vice versa.

However, because it is currently possible to upload saved games to the Ubisoft cloud and transfer them to other platforms, it is likely that this will also be possible on Steam.

It was recently announced that the sales figures for Star Wars Outlaws fell well short of Ubisoft’s expectations.

In response, the development teams are currently working hard to implement a series of updates in a timely manner, according to an internal communication from Ubisoft boss Yves Guillemot. The aim is to get more players excited about the title during Black Friday and the Christmas season.
