The Ministry of National Education has announced that the first step has been taken to demolish and reconstruct the building containing classrooms and administrative departments in Yeniboğaziçi Primary School.

According to the statement made by the Ministry, the protocol was signed by the Minister of National Education Nazım Çavuşoğlu and Kotitaş Kıbrıs Turizm Ltd. Director Kenan Önder Atlı signed.
Within the scope of the protocol, the building in which classrooms and administrative departments are located in Yeniboğaziçi Primary School was built by Kotitaş Kıbrıs Turizm Ltd. according to the project drawn by the Ministry. will be demolished and rebuilt.

Speaking after the signing of the protocol, Minister of National Education Nazım Çavuşoğlu said that after the earthquake on 6 February, everyone is struggling to prevent the uneasiness and losses experienced in the country from happening in the future.
Çavuşoğlu stated that Kenan Atlı, who has been investing in the tourism sector in the country for a long time, also wants to contribute to this struggle and acts with the idea that ‘I will give a support to the future of this country’, and thanked Kenan Atlı, his family, the institution he represents, and the youth of the country for their support. he did.
Stating that there are 160 active schools throughout the country and that they obtained a lot of data as a result of the determinations they made with the Earthquake Committee established under the umbrella of the Prime Ministry after 6 February, Çavuşoğlu added that they are trying to bring the country into compliance with earthquake regulations depending on the final decisions they will make.
Çavuşoğlu also underlined the importance of acting with a sense of social solidarity, drawing attention to the fact that it would not be possible for the steps to be taken only by the state.
Stating that at this point, many business people took action to contribute to their country and reached them, Çavuşoğlu said that according to the reports to be released, they started to take the necessary steps together with philanthropic business people.
