After the somewhat shallower films on Friday evening at 8:15 p.m. in the first, there will be space for a six-part comedy format from mid-March. The first thus changes the genre in the slot where the “Tagesthemen” is currently running, but recently (with little success) it was already experimented with true crime. So now “Comedy saves the world”, produced by SWR and BR and produced by Constantin Entertainment, is in the pipeline.
The show, in which a total of 16 comedians are to take turns appearing, plays with the fact that headlines are now arriving every minute. Who keeps the overview, who separates the important from the unimportant and above all: “Who finds solutions for all these problems?” That’s exactly what “Comedy saves the world” is committed to. According to the ideas of the makers, the production, which was broadcast for the first time on March 17th in the first and the ARD media library, should be both “hilarious” and “highly professional”.
The following act in front of the camera: Olaf Schubert, Lisa Feller, Paul Panzer, Mirja Boes, Simon Pearce, Mike Krüger, Matthias Matschke, Michael Mittermeier and Meltem Kaptan. In terms of comedy, Das Erste also cleaned up a bit later on Thursday evening.
In the near future, “extra 3” will also be planned for Thursdays at 11:35 p.m., which will increase the dose of the format in the first. Das Erste is currently showing “Reschke Fernsehen” on this slot. “Sträter”, “The Summit Meeting” and “Inas Nacht” will also be broadcast on Thursday evening. Florian Schroeder gets a new format in the slot.
