The first ship to leave Ukraine under the grain agreement docks in Turkey after the Lebanese buyer refused to receive the shipment

ANKARA, Aug. 11, 2022 (Xinhua) The first grain ship to leave Ukraine under an agreement between the United Nations, Russia, Ukraine and Turkey docked at a southern Turkish port on Thursday after the buyer in Lebanon rejected the shipment, Turkey’s Dogan News Agency reported.

The agency stated that the ship “Razzoni”, flying the flag of Sierra Leone, will unload some of its cargo in the port of Mersin.

The ship left the Black Sea port of Odessa in southern Ukraine on August 2, carrying about 26,000 tons of corn to the port of Tripoli in northern Lebanon. /ts/
