Eurovision 2021 has started in earnest! The first semi-final of Eurovision 2021 in Rotterdam is behind us! We got to know the first ten countries that advanced to the Saturday final. Who was the lucky one? Are there any competition favorites among them?
Eurovision 2021 is in full swing! During today, the first semi-finals In Eurovision 2021, sixteen participants presented themselves on the Rotterdam Ahoy stage (one less than in the second semi-final on Thursday). Only ten countries could advance to the Saturday finals. The results are in part in line with the predictions of fans and bookmakers. Although it was not without surprises.

Eurovision 2021: Who appeared in the first semi-final?
Today’s semi-final was opened and closed by some of the favorites of the competition. She was the first to perform Lithuaniaand the last one presented Malta. Below is the full list of artists we saw on stage, in starting order.

The course of voting
In the first semi-final, the participating countries and viewers from German, Italian i The Netherlands, i.e. countries that were automatically in the final of the competition. According to the regulations, viewers could indicate their favorites for 15 minutes via SMS and the Eurovision application. The final verdict was also influenced by the jury that assessed the performances yesterday during the dress rehearsal. The detailed results will be known only after the end of the entire competition, and the order of the finalists is random.

Eurovision 2021: first semi-final – results
We learned the final verdict just after 23:00. We checked again just before the competition betting. Out of the ten finalists selected by bookmakers nine of them advanced to the Saturday finals.

When will Rafał Brzozowski perform?
On Thursday, May 20, we will know the next ten finalists. Seventeen countries will appear in the second semi-final, including those representing Poland – Rafał Brzozowski. Both the semi-finals and the final are broadcast by TVP, TVP Polonia. The broadcast is also available online on the site YouTubebut no commentators. Eurovision 2021 is the first edition, when they will sit at the controls of the commentators’ desks Marek Sierocki i Aleksander Sikora.
