Last year, Amazon Prime Video launched a new comic book series, The Boys. And this is not another imitation of Marvel for teenagers, in which you will not see blood even during the biggest massacre. On the contrary, it is a raw, brutal comic that describes a world where you will find several superheroes cut from DC “world”.
Except for a small difference – you can only dream of the great moral character of the main characters. In addition, they do their “superhero” work basically to make money for themselves, and also for the agency that takes care of them … and publishes comics, characters for children, shoots series … but you know how to make money. .
The name of the series The Boys refers to a group of people who supervise conceited and arrogant superheroes, in short, who are annoyed that their crimes are swept under the rug in the marketing media image.
The main attraction of the series was the actor Karl Urban like Billy Butcher, however, the other characters are well cast. The series is backed by Eric Kripke, Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen, who made sure that the brutal and bloody comic book was not smoothed or “made available” to children. The theme of “superheroes” is not black and white here, everyone here has their own story and motivation, and you would look for a clearly positive hero here.
