Xiaomi plans to premiere a new model line called CIVI next week. It is to replace the CC series in the manufacturer’s portfolio, of which some phones were sold on the global market under the name Mi Note. The event will take place in China on Monday, September 27, at 8:00 our time.
Xiaomi CIVI: the first smartphone doesn’t look bad at all
The first representative of the Xiaomi CIVI family will look like, the informant revealed on Twitter Ice Universe, so we can see the upcoming phone today.
At first glance, this is a very elegant device with thin frames around the display. In several pictures, the upcoming novelty is compared with the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphone, which is supposed to be a compliment for Xiaomi – the CIVI is to be up to three times cheaper than the spring Korean flagship; the price is expected to be around 350 USD (about 7,600 crowns without VAT).
On the back you can see a decent photomodule, which is dominated by one large lens followed by two smaller ones. We’ll probably get a basic sensor, a wide-angle camera, and some third sensor in the count; we probably can’t count on a telephoto lens in this price category. According to the caption, however, we can rely on photo editing with artificial intelligence.

Xiaomi CIVI will get a rounded back, which will change color according to the angle of incidence of light, at least according to the model photographed; the phone in the picture alternates between purple and light blue.
Depending on the thickness of the box, we also estimate that we will not find a charging adapter in the basic package. We wonder what kind of phone the internal hardware will get about it so far Ice Universe did not mention.
