The first record holders are heading for customers. Bugatti built 8 Chiron Super Sport 300+ cars

Chiron became the king of speed in 2019, when he crossed the mythical target of 482 km / h and reached a speed of 490.4 km / h. Bugatti then stated that the Super Sport 300+ model will produce 30 pieces in a limited edition, and after two years they are the first specimens in the world.

So far, the carmaker has shown only the first eight pieces, which will gradually go from France to its eager customers. However, the appearance of the remaining 22 cars will not change. For the limited edition, Buggati chose a uniform varnish combining exposed carbon fiber and a distinctive orange.

“We are excited to be able to deliver the first eight models of this record-breaking pioneer to customers, so they can experience a unique sense of sheer speed behind the wheel,” said Christophe Piochon, Bugatti’s director of production and logistics.

The Super Sport 300+ differs from the regular Chiron mainly in its aerodynamic features, which are enhanced by a redesigned front bumper, engine cover or exhaust system.

The limited edition also has other wheels and, above all, a tuned W16 engine, which produces an incredible 1578 horsepower instead of the usual 1479 horses.

Unfortunately for customers, the public version has a maximum speed set to “only” 442 km / h, so it is not officially the fastest car in the world, but it is one of the most popular anyway.
