the first rain of November arrives

He National Meteorological Service (SMN) announced that for this Monday there is between a 70 and one hundred percent chance of strong storms between the morning and afternoon. This would be the first rain of November, beyond the isolated drops that fell last Saturday.

“It’s hard to hold a candle in the cold November rain,” says the iconic Guns N’ Roses song released in 1991. And that’s how it seems to be on November 4: with heavy rainfall in the early hours of the morning, accompanied by gusts of between 50 and 60 kilometers per hour. The minimum will be 17 degrees and the maximum will be 22.

From the first rain of November to an improvement in the weather

However, despite the bad weather this Monday, the week will improve as the days go by. On Tuesday, for example, the minimum will be 13 and the maximum will be 25 and the sky will be clear in the afternoon.

On Wednesday, meanwhile, the records will range between 12 and 26 degrees. The wind will blow from the northeast and it will be somewhat cloudy.

For its part, on Thursday a minimum of 15 degrees and a maximum of 23 degrees are expected with partly cloudy skies.

Finally, on Friday the temperature will range from 13 to 24 degrees, with a northeast wind. It will be partly cloudy again.

The UNLaM inaugurated a Hydro-Meteorological Observatory

The Department of Engineering and Technological Research (DIIT) of the National University of La Matanza (UNLaM) inaugurated a Hydro-Meteorological Observatory.

In this sense, the installation of a hydrometeorological station on the UNLaM property was managed before the Undersecretary of Water Resources (SSRH) of the Secretariat of Public Works of the Ministry of Economy of the Nation. Thus, observations can be made with various instruments and different parameters of technical importance can be measured. For example, precipitation, temperature, ambient humidity, atmospheric pressure, wind speed and direction, among others.
