The first rain in over a month – weather

The announcement from meteorologists gives farmers and others hoping for rain a sigh of relief. The weather experts predict isolated thunderstorms and showers for the weekend, and more productive rains for the coming week. But the morning has already brought a little rain. In the morning thicker clouds passed through on the north side of the Alps, here there were short showers.

Thunderstorms at the weekend

At the same time, however, it is still said that no extensive rainfall is expected until the beginning of next week. Over the weekend, according to the meteorologists, it is still sunny at times with some cloud fields and larger cumulus clouds. And locally, light rain and thunderstorms can be expected.

Rainy days come during the week

It will be cooler and wetter from Tuesday. While there is still summer weather on Monday, showers and thunderstorms begin to appear in Vorarlberg on Tuesday afternoons, which slowly spread into the Innviertel and Upper Carinthia by evening. On Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays it is possible to have some rain throughout Austria.
