In the afternoon, the first short queues of customers began to form in front of the shops in the center of Prague. However, the situation is not dramatic yet, with a greater influx of traders in the early evening and on weekends. Watch footage from the center of Prague from this early afternoon.

In stores, there is still a limit of 15 square meters of sales space for one customer, they must keep a distance of two meters and at the entrance people should disinfect their hands. Stores with other than the basic assortment opened in the Czech Republic after a six-week break.

Minister of Industry and Trade Karel Havlíček also confirmed that there are more customers in stores than usual, but the situation is not dramatic. He was in the morning visiting the Ikea department store in Prague’s Zličín.

According to him, the key will be the next 10 to 14 days and the regime shortly before Christmas. If the situation can be controlled, it will be good. According to him, it would be very unpleasant if the Czech Republic had to return from the current third level of risk to the stricter fourth in the anti-epidemic system. In the fourth level, again, most business activities could not work.
