The premiere is planned for the Munich Motor Show, which will start on Monday, but we can see the first photos now.

One of the expected novelties of the Munich IAA Mobility 2021, which will start this Monday, September 6, will be the purely electric Renault Mégane E-Tech Electric, the arrival of which the carmaker has warned us about for several months. But the wait ended sooner than it should.
Pictures of the new Renault appeared on the CocheSpias Facebook and Instagram profiles completely without camouflage. We already knew its basic features from recently published photos of the car under the camouflage foil, but now we can finally see most of the interesting details of the exterior for the first time.

This is especially true for the front bumper, or its lower grille with a different coating, or daytime running lights, which cut into the bumper in an interesting way back towards the wheel arches. From the profile, the car is more like a crossover, but the look is also attracted by recessed handles or interestingly shaped lines around the wheel arches, which fill relatively large discs. At the same time, we certainly have no doubt that the shapes of the rims were subject to aerodynamics.
Unfortunately, the images do not show the stern, but one of them offers a view of the modern cockpit, which is dominated by a panel with a digital instrument panel, vertically positioned infotainment and a small panel of buttons, which probably serves for quick access to selected sub-menus or ventilation settings.

We will have to wait for the complete unveiling of the technology, but we already know that the basis of the car will be the new CMF-EF platform, shared with Nissan Ariya. At present, we also have a confirmed drive system using an electric motor with an output of 160 kWh in combination with 60 kWh batteries, which should offer a range of up to 450 km. We will probably find out about the others.
Of course, there is still the possibility that the new photos are only the work of a capable graphic artist. However, the Coche Spias website has repeatedly brought real photos of cars just before the premiere, so we don’t have much reason to doubt the authenticity this time either. So how do you like the important and long-awaited novelty of the brand? Let me know in the comments.
