A reliable source has said that Motorola will launch the first smartphone equipped with a 200-megapixel camera.
Smartphone manufacturers have entered the megapixel war with the phones they have released in recent years.
Megapixel values, which have now turned into a marketing strategy rather than photo quality, are raising the bar every year.
For example, South Korean manufacturer Samsung, last September ISOCELL introduced a 200 MP smartphone camera sensor called HP1.
FIRST MOTOROLA TO USE
Ice Universe, one of the reliable sources of information in the mobile industry, announced on its Twitter account that the first smartphone with the Samsung ISOCELL HP1 image sensor will be released by Lenovo’s subsidiary Motorola.
The 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HP1 camera sensor is planned to be introduced in December for the first time. Moto Edge X model will appear.
Xiaomi, on the other hand, is preparing to launch its 200-megapixel camera smartphone in the second half of next year.
South Korean giant Samsung’s phone with the same sensor will probably be the Galaxy S23 Ultra model, which will be introduced in 2023.
