For a rural producer or contractor, new equipment or access to a new technology that facilitates field work is a very pleasant sensation. Four months ago Marcelo Mola, contractor for General Madariaga, in the province of Buenos Aires, acquired an Altina equipment for its fertilization and sowing tasks (summer and winter) that boosted its operation.
“The idea was born some time ago. We always heard the comment that it worked well, but it was only this year that we were able to buy it. We went fishing in Entre Ríos and crossed a team. And I said to my partner: ‘That’s what I want to put together’. I called the people of Altina to advise me and find out about the financing, “said Mola.
“In addition to the fertilization tasks, the idea is to make cover crops, ryegrass on sunflower and on corn. The idea is to have it walking as much as possible”Added the contractor whose area of influence is Madariaga, Lavalle and Ayacucho, among other towns in southern Buenos Aires.

Marcelo Mola has an Altina Kit, mounted on a Rogator 1274 equipment, with a 30-meter working width. “The machine is running very well. I come from doing 1800 hectares without any problems, ten points. When there is wind we continue to work with precision”, He recounted. Is that the pneumatic system of the equipment allows a precise and uniform application, even in adverse weather conditions, such as the one indicated by Mola.

And he added: “It has a much more precise application than other systems. Some time ago we ‘tray’ the machine to test it and we saw that it distributes perfectly throughout the width. We work at 15 or 20 kilometers per hour, without losing precision ”.
