Given the shortage of strong premieres, Spider-Man: No way home it remains in the first position with close to a million and a half euros and a cumulative of … 20 million euros! This means that is on its way to joining the group of the 50 highest grossing films in the history of the Spanish box office. Let’s see how it holds up for the next few weeks, especially considering how much Sony is betting on it for the Oscars.
Regarding the general figures of the Spanish box office, the TOP 25 of the billboard stays this time in 3.887.705 euros (a considerable drop from 5.2 million euros a week ago).
These numbers are higher than those of the beginning of the year in 2021 (2.3 million euros with The last big scam as the most outstanding novelty), but, of course, nothing to do with the 6.6 million euros in 2020 (in this case, Richard Jewell was the premiere with the highest income).
