Jakarta, CNN Indonesia —
The first launch of the Astra rocket which will send a satellite into orbit failed, Thursday (10/2).
The 13-meter-tall Launch Vehicle 0008 rocket ran into trouble about five minutes after launch, just after the rocket’s first and second stages separated.
The ELaNa 41 mission is designed to bring four mini research satellites, or CubeSats, into orbit for NASA.
Astra, assisted by the US Federal Aviation Administration, will investigate the cause of the failure.
