Today, the first Lada Vesta rolled off the assembly line at the main AVTOVAZ plant in Tolyatti. White restyling the station wagon was assembled in test mode – this copy was checked for proper functioning of the equipment and technologies transferred from Izhevsk. This machine will remain in the factory, in the future it will only be used for staff training.

The transfer of Vesta production from Izhevsk to Togliatti began in early August. This model will be assembled on the first line of the main conveyor, which has so far been entirely devoted to the production of cars on the French B0 platform. However, of the entire model family, only Lada Largus will remain on this trolley – the resumption of production is planned for the end of this year.

The full production cycle of the first Vesta test in Togliatti took more than a month. The first three bodies were welded here October 13th. The pilot assembly has begun October 26th, and just today it rolled off the assembly line. It will still take a few months for the factory workers to debug the mass production and solve the logistics problems. Production of West merchandise is scheduled to begin in early spring 2023.
