The first in the world – MINI presents an electric convertible (+ PHOTO)

British car manufacturer MINI will become the first in the world to offer customers an electric drive convertible.

When it comes to the still relatively new segment of electric drive vehicles, it must be concluded that automakers still have a chance to become the “world’s first”. Thus, the British MG announced the world’s first electric station wagon, and MINI – the world’s first electric convertible.

The manufacturer has stated that the electric convertible is equipped with a 135 kW (184 hp) electric motor and a battery that will allow you to drive up to 200 km without additional charging. The four-seater reaches 100 km/h in 8.2 seconds, but the soft fabric roof can also be raised and lowered while driving, as long as the speed does not exceed 30 km/h.

The MINI Cooper SE Convertible will be available in Enigmatic Black and White Silver, complete with leather seats, a heated Nappa leather steering wheel, version number plates and door sill plates, as well as a black piano lacquer finish that contrasts with yellow accents in the interior and exterior design.

It is known that it will become the MINI Cooper SE Convertible, which will be released in a limited number of 999 units and will cost at least 60,000 euros. For sale – from April 2023.
