Muniain’s first words upon arriving at San Lorenzo
Iker Muniain officially became a San Lorenzo player. The Athletic Club de Bilbao idol was present this Friday afternoon at the Pedro Bidegain stadium and signed his contract with the Gauchos de Boedo, lasting until December 2025.
The Basque left his feelings and showed his enthusiasm for being able to play at the Nuevo Gasómetro. “I feel enormously happy to be here, the truth is that I loved the stadium and I can’t wait to see it full of people cheering on the team. I loved everything I saw, it excited me. When you are a player and you see the fans of a team as big as San Lorenzo’s and that creativity they have and how they cheer on the team, it moves you inside. And well, I really want to get dressed and start playing,” he said in a video that San Lorenzo shared on its official communication channels.
