Carrefour opens the first 100% Self Check-out hypermarket and the first in Sfântu Gheorghe, reaching a number of 41 large units nationwide and over 360 units in all formats. The new unit is located inside the new Sepsi Value Center, has a sales area of ​​over 4,100 square meters, 500 parking spaces and sells 30,000 products. In this store, the first of its kind, customers can pay exclusively at the 16 smart homes type Self Check-out, both by card and cash.

The store is SAFE Asset Group certified Covid-19 compliant and brings to the community of Sfântu Gheorghe the loyalty program Act For Good, available in the Carrefour application. At the same time, a new “shop in shop” concept was introduced in the store, called Carrefour Carousel.

The unit in Sfântu Gheorghe is also served by BRINGO, with the possibility of online shopping, but also the option for the products to be ready in the hypermarket, through the Click & Collect option.

At the same time, the customers of the new store can recycle used oil, offering 1 liter of fresh oil, own brand, in exchange for every 3 liters of used oil, and 2 liters of fresh oil for every 5 liters of used oil.
