6,500 visitors from all over Europe over two days, more than a hundred exhibitors who think about animal well-being and who come from the four corners of France, species from all continents, all biotopes (desert, tropical, arboreal, aquatic) and above all more than 50,000 specimens brought together on display or for sale…
This is what to expect if you are going to try the adventure of the Reptiliades. Here, snakes like snakes, python, boa and more are legion. But there are also lizards, turtles, frogs, insects such as beetles, exotic mantis, ants, stick insects and let’s not forget arachnids!
Much more than a fair, the Reptiliades are the meeting place for terrariophiles, gathered within the city of Nîmes with the crocodile as its emblem. Two days of trade shows and the promise of a total change of scenery.

A real invitation to escape, learn, touch, share, observe, appreciate this moment of exchange. Fascinating for some, disturbing for others, the theme of reptiles never ceases to intrigue. This show is therefore highly anticipated by the terrariophile community because it reflects all the links of an animal show and brings together in one place distributors, professional or amateur breeders, associations and consumers.
Terrariophilia consists of maintaining, or even reproducing, certain animal and/or plant species by imitating their biotope in a space called a terrarium or vivarium of adequate size depending on the species. In this sense, it has great similarities with the aquarium hobby.

What’s new for 2023? The presence of YouTubers like Tanguy from the TooPet channel which has nearly 700,000 subscribers and sponsor of this edition. Meeting-discussion slots with youtubers and influencers are planned during the show, as are Anîm’O’s mini conferences to deepen knowledge or simply discover them. In the news department, also count on the first French-speaking meeting of myrmecology in France! We will obviously talk about anthills…
Organized by Anîm’O which thus ensures the largest French terrariophilia show, whether you are a neophyte, initiated or experienced, the Reptiliades invite you to discover the world of terrariophilia.
