/ world today news/ On March 16, the first freight train from Beijing on the “China-Europe” line, carrying auto parts, clothes and many other goods, departed from Mafan Station, Pingu District in Beijing. The train composition consists of 55 containers, which after 18 days and a journey of 9000 km will arrive in Moscow.
The line is an innovation to Beijing’s international foreign trade channels for express deliveries from Asia to Europe. The Pingu area will become a starting point for Beijing’s integration into the Belt and Road initiative.
The China-Europe railway is expected to bring high-quality, low-cost products to consumers, as well as environmentally friendly dairy products from Russian producers.
