The Hong Kong Repertory Theater’s work “The First Floor”, which received 7 nominations in the nomination round, finally won three awards: “Best Actor”, “Best Supporting Actor” and “Best Director”, becoming the biggest winner of this festival. Among them, “Best Director” winner Szeto Huizhuo won this award for the third time with his director “The First Floor in the World” after “Dear Hu Xueyan” and “De Ling and Ci Xi”.

Shaanxi People’s Art Theater’s drama “Book of Life” adapted from the novel of the same name by mainland writer Li Peifu followed closely, winning two honors: “Best Annual Play” and “Best Screenplay”. “Preliminary Evidence”, “Almond Tofu Heart”, “Don Quixote”, “Camel Xiangzi”, “Half of My Life”, “Where is the nearest accessible toilet?” Eight works with different themes and styles, including “True Detective Zhao Gan Ge” and “Fifteen Days in Two Capitals”, also won awards at this ceremony.

Tse Jun-hao, who won the “Best Actor” award, is a popular star in film, television and drama on both sides of the Taiwan Strait. This time he plays the role of Lu Mengshi in “The World’s First Floor”, and Tse Jun-hao has fulfilled his mission. The winner of the “Best Actress” award is the well-known actress Xin Zhilei.
