A 4 year old girl and a 10 year old boy were stabbed on Christmas night by their aunt who said she was “possessed”. The latter died, the girl was hospitalized in serious condition. The woman’s infant is also said to have suffered “physical damage”.

Little by little, the circumstances are clarified on this tragedy which took place on the night of December 24 to 25 when two children were stabbed by their aunt in Limay in the Yvelines. The 10-year-old boy died on the spot. The 4-year-old girl was transported in a state of absolute emergency.
According to the Versailles prosecutor’s office, five adults and three children from the same family were together for New Years Eve under the same roof: the aunt suspected of having killed her nephew, another aunt and an uncle, the grandparents, as well as the boy, the girl and an infant. The latter is the child of the alleged perpetrator. According to a police source, the parents had entrusted their two children to the family for the night.
An infant also hospitalized
The alert was given around 3:15 am by neighbors. Firefighters are warned of the presence of a woman with a bleeding boy in her arms. The grandmother also notified the emergency services.
A neighbor, Thierry, 38, who lives on the ground floor of the building (like the family), stormed out when he heard “screams from everywhere”. As helpers bustled around the boy in the hallway, “a great lady, the grandmother no doubt” entrusts the girl to him “who trembled”.
According to the Versailles prosecutor’s office, the girl was taken care of in the apartment, seriously injured, before being hospitalized. Beside him, an infant “on the ground”. Firefighters said the baby was “unharmed”. “Without apparent injury”, he was still hospitalized, and the prosecution indicated to check his state of health. Followed in psychiatry
The alleged perpetrator of the homicide is “the aunt of the victims, who claimed to be possessed and presented with lacerations on the forearms”, said a police source. According to these sources, she immediately admitted being the author of the beatings and explained that she was “possessed”.
This woman was followed in psychiatry but unknown to the police services. According to these police sources, the knife used, with a 15 cm blade, was discovered hidden in thickets.
Presented as being 38 years old, she is in fact 31 years old and an employee of the municipality, indicates Actu.fr.
The Versailles public prosecutor’s office opened an investigation for intentional homicide and attempted homicide on minors under 15 as well as for violence against minors under 15.
