“The story of the prophet Yusuf” This is the first edition of the book, published in 1617, and contains the Arabic text of the story of the prophet Yusuf and its Latin translation by the Dutch orientalist Thomas Erbinius. This volume represents the first printed work employing a linguistic approach to Koranic texts in Europe.

The Sharjah International Book Fair, in its 41st session, will host intellectuals, writers, publishers, creators, artists, influencers and people with experience from 95 countries of the world, to open to its visitors, adults and children, an opportunity to meet the International Booker Prize campaign, authors of the most famous international films, stars of art, cinema, poetry and theater, have the opportunity to move between countries in one place, from Italy (guest of honor of the exhibition ) to the most important European countries, through East Asia and Africa, to the countries of the Arab region.

The exhibition, which is being launched at Expo Center Sharjah, goes beyond the field of travel for its visitors from the space of books and publishers’ platforms, to tastes of world dishes, music, artistic and theatrical performances, and even of their clothing and fashion, and arts and crafts, as it hosts 2,213 publishers from 95 countries, including 1,298 Arab and 915 foreign publishing houses, and organizes 123 artistic performances, presented by 22 participants from 8 countries, including 6 new programs scheduled for the first time, as well as more than 30 events dedicated to the most important chefs of the region and the world.
