18 employees of the National Agency for Land Improvements Galati Branch were fired because they accumulated the pension with the salary. Everything was under an ITM control, and the employees were fired.
The Territorial Branch of Land Improvements Galați found out that 18 employees had been accumulating, for several months, the pension with the salary, without them having announced the institution, in order to take legal steps to terminate the individual employment contracts.
“We mention that, in May, the Branch was subjected to a control action by ITM Galați, and the control plan of ITM also included the verification of employees close to retirement age. Following the control, the Galati Branch requested the Galati County Pension House to verify a number of 25 people who fell into this category. Following the reply sent by it, it was found that a number of 18 employees were beneficiaries of the old-age pension. They did not inform the ANIF management that they are the beneficiaries of the pension right, although the current legislation stipulates that the obligation regarding this is incumbent on the employee ”, ANIF representatives announced on Facebook.
Following the findings, the Galati Territorial Branch issued decisions to terminate individual employment contracts, and the National Agency will order the necessary legal measures, said those from ANIF.
