The American Health Authority in California announced the death of a minor in Los Angeles after contracting the new “Corona” virus.
The state’s health authorities did not provide, according to the American “Al-Hurra” channel today, Wednesday, no information about the victim, nor did it indicate whether she was suffering from other diseases, only indicating that the deceased was less than 18 years old.
The unknown minor is the first person under the age of 18 to die as a result of Coffid-19 in the United States.
According to the Los Angeles County Public Health Authorities, confirmed cases of Corona reported as of Tuesday had reached 662, while the region had recorded 11 deaths.
Among these cases are 10 minors, aged 17 and under, with ages 268 between 18 and 40, according to health authorities, which indicated that 119 patients were hospitalized.
It should be noted that the governor of California, Gavin Nossem, issued an executive order last Thursday, requiring that the state’s 40 million people require their homes until further notice in order to limit the spread of the virus.
