The first competitions of this season have been held at the “Young Equestrian School” in Inčukalns

Last weekend, at the “Young Equestrian School” in Inčukalns region, the first competition of this year’s show jumping took place, which gathered equestrians from all the Baltic States. Kristaps Neretnieks with a horse won the main route with 135 cm high obstacles Camerlane. For two days, riders of different ages and levels of difficulty competed with horses on 13 routes.

“For many, this was one of the first races this season, but nonetheless, I appreciate the achievements of riders and horses. This year I can praise the quality of the course. “admitted the main judge of the competition Inga Miķelsone.

“Of course, my favorite route is the management route, because I see the growth of the new generation, which together with the coaches is seriously preparing for this route. In terms of difficulty, the most technically difficult route was where the riders had to overcome a height of 135 cm, which not everyone can afford. But it was on this route that it was possible to see one of Latvia’s best riders, Kristaps Neretnieks, who is rare in Latvia and from whom riders could and can learn a lot. ”

The next competition at the “Young Riders’ School” is scheduled for August 29 and 30.
