The first comment from Wadih Al-Sheikh after the confusion surrounding his father’s death

The death of the father of the artist, Wadih Al-Sheikh, on Monday, witnessed controversy on social media after news circulated of his death as a result of being shot in the abdomen during a family dispute.
In his first comment on the incident, Wadih Al-Sheikh thanked “everyone who comforted him and stood by him during this painful stage, especially those who shared his painful affliction with him, whether in person or through a phone call,” and he apologized “for not responding to most of the calls he received.”
In a statement published on his official Instagram account, he stressed that “all the news circulating in the media recently about the cause of his father’s death are false news aimed at distorting his reputation.”
Wadih Al-Sheikh also apologized to his fans for “postponing all the concerts that were scheduled until further notice, appreciating his fans and followers who showered him with a noble emotion that he will never forget and asking God to keep these calamities away from everyone.”
