From the 16th round, Leclerc’s duel with Verstappen attracted attention, in which they both performed several impressive overtaking maneuvers.
Continuously, the second Verstappen changed the tires up to three times, his shortfall on Leclerca increased to almost half a minute. In the 46th lap, the race received a new plot when Gasly put down a monopost that started burning.

This was attacked by the fourth Hamilton, who easily came to third place in the end, as Pérez’s engine turned off in a right-hand turn and also ended prematurely.
Charles Leclerc, winner: “We have had a difficult two years, but all the people in the factories have worked hard and this is the result. I tried to go with the common maneuvers wisely and it paid off. “
Carlos Sainz, 2nd miest: “It was a difficult weekend for me. I have some “homework” that I have to do in future races. I saw that the red lights flashed for Max and I sensed that this was my chance. I succeeded. “
Lewis Hamilton, 3. miesto: “Congratulations to Ferrari on the double. It was a difficult weekend for us, but we are happy. We are waiting for new parts and I believe that then we will be stronger. “
