The first battle in “Survivor” left half of the participants without food and fire on the uninhabited Philippine island

After a nearly 8-year hiatus, the action movie “Survivor” is back and has put 20 men and women in front of their biggest fears. They all threw themselves into a fierce battle for survival, and the first ordeal left half of them without food, fire and tools.

As they set foot on the uninhabited Philippine island, the participants were divided into two tribes, Ifugao and Bontok, and were forced to fight for their livelihood. Their task was to swim to a platform with provisions anchored in the sea, to load the “prey” of rafts and return to them back to shore.

The Bontok tribe was the first to reach the sandy beach with triumphant shouts, with the sprinter Karin, the boxer Margarita, the director Zoran and the fitness trainer Vanko standing out. Their Ifugao rivals were left empty-handed and immediately blamed each other for the failure.

Amidst the wild and exotic nature of the Philippines, participants will experience severe trials and unpredictable twists. Determined to win, they will prove that triumph is a matter not only of physical strength, but also of strategy and ingenuity.

The representatives of the stronger sex, who will compete for the biggest prize on Bulgarian TV of BGN 150,000, stand out with exceptional endurance. Footballer Ivaylo Krusharski, NSA teacher Denis Hristoforov, fitness coach Ivan Georgiev and car repair shop owner and instructor Dragomir Metodiev will rely on their excellent physical training to reach the final. Two ambitious men dedicated to medicine will fight for their survival in the show – the student-caregiver Georgi Petkov and the doctor Ivan Uzunov. In the world-famous format, winner of many Emmy Awards, construction entrepreneur Ilian Vassilev, director Zoran Petrovski, sales consultant Milen Kutelov and hotelier Peyo Georgiev will also advance to the finals with will and steadfastness.
