The minister announced this in his Telegram channel.
“I came to Almaty to personally check the process of accepting the equipment. Over the next week, delivery will begin to specific schools in the Turkestan and Akmola regions, which are completely ready for the installation of Starlink. The akimats of these regions have carried out all the preparatory work,” he wrote.
According to Musin, the rest of the regions will be delivered kits from the next batch, which will arrive in 10 days.
“In just 20 days, 2,000 kits will arrive, which will provide high-speed Internet to 2,000 remote rural schools in the country,” he said.
On February 6, 2024, Bagdat Musin commented on the question of plans to use Starlink in Kazakhstan. He said that Kazakhstan will definitely not become an obstacle to new technologies.
