Doha: The ball will be played for the first time today at Lusail Stadium, the final venue of the FIFA Qatar World Cup. The local tournament Qatar Stars League match will be held at 7.40 pm. The fight is between local clubs Al Rayan and Al Arabi.
The tickets for the match are already completely sold out. Lusail is the largest of the World Cup stadiums with a seating capacity of 80,000. It is only 15 km from Doha. An opportunity to see the stadium is also being prepared for the fans before the World Cup.
The stadium will come alive again with the Lusail Super Cup on September 9. Competitions are also conducted to test the functionality of the venue. The World Cup matches at the stadium will also begin on November 22 with the match between Argentina and Saudi Arabia.
