Some fans believe Captain America remained a virgin until his reunion with Peggy Carter afterAvengers : Endgame while others are convinced that he lost it before, especially during the events of Captain America : First Avenger, this also fostered an unprecedented bond between the superhero and Star-Lord in the MCU. Fortunately, the faithful of the Maison des Idées could count on the screenwriters of the film, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely to close the debate, the latter having finally solved this famous mystery about the character played on the big screen by Chris Evans. On the occasion of an interview with Yahoo Entertainment, the two men have indeed returned to this crucial question, the answer being according to them quite simple: “I think Captain America lost his virginity [avant Avengers : Endgame]” McFeely said before asking himself: “Why do people think he’s a virgin?”
As a reminder, the young super-soldier had embarked on a promotional tour across the United States at the beginning of Captain America : First Avenger, the writers having relied on this example to explain that Steve Rogers could have lived his first emotions during this period. In addition, Christopher Markus added: “You also have to remember that Steve is not prudish. He can be presented in this way at times. He stands up for Good against Evil but he is not a child at heart. He is a war veteran. . ” Words that will have enough to confirm this mystery remained in suspense for a long time in the MCU.
