Saudi Arabia and Morocco were drawn against each other in Group F, accompanied by the Netherlands and Belgium, and the Saudi team managed to settle the game in their favor, with two goals to one. Sami Al Jaber scored a penaltySo, Muhammad Al-Shawsh drew, before Fouad Anwar scored the winning goal for the Saudis, so that the Saudi team won their first victory in the Arab World Cup clashes.
It should be noted that the Saudi national team, despite the defeat in the first round against the Netherlands by two goals, defeated Belgium in the last round with the famous goal of Saeed Al-Owairan, which qualified them for the round of 16, in a historic milestone reached by Arab football.
