On the Landiras and Guillos front, south-east of the Gironde
In the Landiras sector, the “authorities are evacuating the inhabitants of the town of Cabanac (i.e.) 2,100 people”, writes the prefecture on Twitter.

“Big resources are being deployed in the sector. However, the fire should not reach the Landes department because the wind should turn towards the west and the north”, indicates Lieutenant-Colonel Arnaud Mendousse.

New strategy
