Chief of the Maritime Security Agency of the Republic of Indonesia (Kabakamla RI) Vice Admiral TNI Irvansyah spoke about the incident fire which hit the building Bakamla this morning. Irvansyah said that the fire came on the 6th floor of the building.

No Victims

As is known, the police visited the building of the Indonesian Maritime Security Agency (Bakamla) in Menteng, Central Jakarta, in which a fire occurred in the morning. Meanwhile, there was no death or injury in the incident that took place.

“There were no deaths, zero reported deaths. The picket officer in Bakamla did not report any deaths,” Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro told reporters, Sunday ( 29/9).

Susatyo said that the Bakamla building itself was empty because it was a holiday. At the site of the incident there were only 16 craftsmen who were doing renovation work.

“There were no victims because the building was empty. The building of the National Commission on Violence against Women was under renovation. Later we will investigate the builders again,” he said. .
