The fire in the Kristiansand apartment building was put out

Firefighters are evacuating residents from an apartment building in Kristiansand where a fire has broken out.
The fire is on the first floor. Police reported the incident shortly after 11.40pm.
The central 110 tweets that the elevator evacuation has begun and that the evacuation starts from the third floor.
– There is a major fire in a first-floor apartment and we are evacuating residents on the block, Operations Manager Miriam Stausland in the Agder Police District tells NTB.
It should be a four-story condominium with several residents.
– There are 18 registered residents in the corridor where the fire broke out, says Stausland.
The cause of the fire is currently unclear and the emergency services are working to get an overview of the extent of damage to people and buildings.
– There is reason to assume that someone has inhaled smoke, but beyond that I don’t know, says Stausland
