The fire destroys a residential building and firefighters are calling it a “major incident”

London Fire Brigade announce a major event after a fire broke into the building Dagenham, East London.

Two people were taken to the hospital and more than 100 residents were evacuated.

Commissioner Andy Roe has given an update on the Dagenham fire in X.

He said: “To enable us to focus our resources on the event, we have announced a major event.
