The fire brigade drove out to a person who was handcuffed:

In the morning, Rogaland Fire and Rescue received a message about a person who had been handcuffed.

A crew from Stavanger drove to an address to free the person.

– We were able to borrow a set of keys from the police in the South-East, and got the person loose, the 110 exchange writes on Twitter.

The duty manager in Rogaland fire and rescue, Christer Gilberg, says that the person had locked his arms in handcuffs, but does not know anything more about what has happened.

– There were some who had ordered handcuffs online, and the keys were not there. So then we had to unlock the handcuffs, Gilberg watches TV 2.

The duty manager says that this is not the first time the fire service has been on this type of assignment.

– We come across a few different things, but this has happened before. For example, when security guards have been on handcuff courses and do not have the keys, he says.
