It was confirmed on the 18th that SK Group chairman Choi Tae-won opened a clubhouse account, a social network service (SNS) that is recently popular.
Clubhouse is an SNS where several people gather in an open room to chat with voice, and sign up through invitation or approval. According to Chairman Choi’s clubhouse profile page, it seems that he was invited by TNC Foundation Chairman Kim Hee-young, a partner.
Recently, Chairman Choi is reinforcing his communication movements. At the end of last year, Chairman Choi, wearing a beret and an apron, released a video of making and serving the employees by making a yukgaejang. In 2019, the group members shared their management philosophy by holding a town hall meeting-style’Happy Talk’ 100 times.
Earlier this month, there are also observations that Choi, who was elected as the next president-elect of the Seoul Chamber of Commerce and the chairman of the Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry representing the economy, can use the club house more actively.
On the 19th, Chairman Choi plans to greet through a video at the’The Future of Battery Technology’ seminar inviting the 2019 Nobel Prize winners in Chemistry hosted by Choi Jong-Hyun Academy.
After SK Innovation lost to LG Energy Solutions in a lawsuit in the United States regarding the infringement of electric vehicle battery trade secrets, attention is being focused as Chairman Choi welcoming him to an academic seminar on batteries. However, considering that the seminar is an academic event and a welcome speech is about 1 minute, Chairman Choi is not expected to comment on the details of the SK Innovation battery business or the recent lawsuit.
In addition to Chairman Choi, Yong-man Park, Vice Chairman of Hyundai Card, Jung Tae-young, Vice Chairman Jung Yong-jin, Shinsegae Vice Chairman, Hanwha Group 3rd generation Kim Dong-won, Managing Director of Hanwha Life Insurance, have already opened and used a clubhouse account.
