The Finances and Leaders of Hamas: A Closer Look at Abu Marzouk, Mashal, and Kafişeh

The second most important leader of Hamas, Musa Abu Marzouk, has been living in the United States for 14 years. His fortune is estimated at two billion dollars.

On the other hand, the former head of the “Hamas” office, Khaled Mashal, fled to Qatar with a huge fortune of 1.5 billion dollars. Currently, he manages the finances and real estate of “Hamas” from Doha.

“Bild” research concluded that Yunis Kafişeh, who is responsible for the finances of “Hamas”, lives in Istanbul and even acquired Turkish citizenship.

Several “high-ranking” “Hamas” employees were killed

On October 26, it was reported that the Israeli army announced on Thursday that it had killed Shadi Barud, the deputy head of the intelligence directorate of the Palestinian militant group Hamas, in a strike in the Gaza Strip on Thursday.

Barud “participated in the planning of the October 7 massacre and countless other deadly attacks against Israelis,” the Israel Defense Forces said in a statement.
