Interim Finance Minister Youssef Al-Khalil received Indian Ambassador to Lebanon Suhail Ijaz Khan and learned from him about India’s G20 presidency for the year 2023, which will be titled “A Land, a Family and a Future “.
The Indian Ambassador extended an invitation to Hebron to participate in the virtual meeting, which it is participating under the slogan “Financing Sustainable Development for Humans”, and its meaning is to convey the voice of developing countries development regarding their financial problems.
Al-Khalil presented Vivian Lebes with the general director of “Tele Liban” the conditions of the broadcaster and the problems it faces in terms of financing, fairness towards the workers by granting them a monthly assistance, which consists of two salaries, plus all those who receive their salary with public money.
And the Finance Minister has expressed his willingness to help, underlining: “Trying, in compliance with the law, to find solutions that take into account the economic and living conditions of the workers on the one hand, and the financial capacities of the State on the other the other hand.”
