“This is a measure of tax justice”
The contribution on high incomes, which concerns 24,000 households, will be, if the text leaves it there, permanently enshrined in the law. “This is a measure of fiscal justice,” said MoDem deputy Jean-Paul Mattéi. “If it is well studied, well configured, well balanced. I think there is no reason to limit it over time.” The commission, on the other hand, rejects the elimination of several tax breaks: that granted to journalists, regional councilors, but also the abolition of the regime for intermittent workers in the entertainment industry, defended by the National Rally deputy, Jean-Philippe Tanguy.
