The final stage of the “Rise” competition begins

On July 14, the final stage of the Third “Rise” competition begins. SIA reports that the final stage, which will last until July 16, will be held at the Baku Expo Center. 109 candidates will participate in this stage.

In total, 73 participants in Baku and 36 participants in the regions passed to the final stage. 87 of them are men and 22 are women. The finalists include candidates working in international, private and state companies, as well as NGOs. Participants between the ages of 21 and 30 prevail among the finalists.

66 of the candidates are participants of the “Yukselis” contest of the past years.

17 points were determined for the transition to the final stage. Participants will demonstrate their knowledge and skills for the victory during two days. The 8 competencies of the participants (strategic thinking, results orientation, teamwork skills, communication skills, change and innovation management, leadership, social responsibility and effectiveness management) will be evaluated by experts and executives. Evaluation will be done on the submitted cases.

It should be noted that 13 thousand 474 participants applied to the third “Yukselis” competition, whose registration started on February 17. The 20 winners of the competition will be given the opportunity to receive individual career advice from top managers of large companies and heads of state bodies, be included in the personnel reserve bank, and receive a cash prize worth 20,000 manats within a year.

The “Rise” competition was established according to the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev dated July 26, 2019. The competition consists of 5 stages.

On December 20, 2022, the head of our state signed an order regarding the holding of the third “Rise” competition.
