The Sanremo Giovani final is approaching. On Thursday 17 December from the Teatro del Casinò di Sanremo, at 9.30 pm on Rai1, Radio2 and RaiPlay, the last and decisive act of the journey that will bring 8 New Proposals to the 71st Sanremo Festival will be broadcast.
An edition with record numbers, which saw 961 proposals at the starting line. First the auditions and then the semifinals of AmaSanremo have decreed that the final will be played by Avincola, Folcast, Gaudiano, Hu, I Desideri, Le Larve, Merlot, Davide Shorty, WrongOnYou and Greta Zuccoli.
The 10 finalists will perform live accompanied by a band and will have to convince the Television Jury who already knows them well for having judged them in the five AmaSanremo appointments.
Luca Barbarossa, Beatrice Venezi, Morgan and Piero Pelù, excellences of Italian music in all its forms and expressions, will have the task of deciding who will be the 6 young people among the 10 who will reach the Ariston Theater. Their vote will be joined by the popular vote of Televoto and that of the Musical Commission, headed by the Artistic Director Amadeus. Finally, the 2 artists selected by the Musical Commission among the winners of the Sanremo Area, will complete the group of 8 New Proposals.
Amadeus will do the honors, accompanied by the inseparable Riccardo Rossi, in an evening that promises to be full of surprises. The Artistic Director, in fact, will reveal the names of the Champions of the next Sanremo Festival. And the emotion will be even greater because the Big artists will be present and will parade bearing the title of their song.
Ema Stokholma will take care of the magical atmosphere of the Teatro del Casinò on Rai Radio2, ready to gather the comments and reactions of the radio people.
The final of Sanremo Giovani, therefore, will be the preview of the next Festival. With the names of the Champions and the New Proposals, the countdown to the 71st Sanremo Italian Song Festival can officially start.
